# 889: In Windows Vista OS, create Storage Volume may fail if the HDD was formatted by GVD

Storage Configuration Manager previously.

Workaround: Using Windows disk management to format the HDD to NTFS first.

# 979: When the bit rate of MPEG4 video is too small (less than 300Kb/sec), video decoding

could fail and the video will not be displayed smoothly.

Workaround: Uses constant bit rate control instead of variable bit rate control in the camera

setting.

# 1514: In a rare case, the system may stop functioning if HTML Map using Acrobat Reader 9.0

as the default PDF viewer to open pdf file in map.

Workaround: Users may downgrade to Acrobat Reader 8.0 if this happens.

# 1699: Video display frame rate will drop 2 to 3 frames per second if debug mode is turned on

(hotkey F9).

Workaround: If user would like to check the frame rate of video, we suggest to use “Shift + F9”

key to show the frame rate information only instead of “F9” key.

# 1812: HD NVR Manager/HD CMS Manager may not function normally after changing the

screen resolution.

Workaround: Quit HD NVR Manager/HD CMS Manager before changing screen resolution.

# 2404: In a rare case, HD NVR Manager/HD CMS Manager may stop functioning when installing

Arecont Vision cameras.

Note: Since this issue does not affect recording function, please re-logon HD NVR Manager/HD

CMS Manager for continue operations.

# 2559: Using “Alt + F4” to close GVD Player, HD NVR Manager/HD CMS Manager may freeze the

user interface.

Workaround: Uses “x” button to close the Player instead of using Alt + F4.

# 2796: In a rare case, the tabs of the configuration page may disappear in configuration mode.

Workaround: Re-login HD NVR Manager/HD CMS Manager shall correct the issue.

# 2801: In a rare case, HD NVR Manager/HD CMS Manager may stop functioning when removing

a camera.
